The Weather - Many Europeans have visited Phuket and other areas on the West coast of Thailand. The climate in these areas are quite different from the climate in Jomtien on the East coast. A comparison between the number of sunny days, rainy days and the amount of rain shows that the periods with nice weather are longer in Jomtien than they are in Phuket. Beaches and Islands- There are a number of nice beaches in and near Jomtien as well as on nearby islands (e.g. Koh Larn). Tours for scuba diving and fishing are available.
